Hard times and reflections…

Recently I’ve been so ill I haven’t had the time or energy to focus on social media or blogging. I barely had energy to make it through the days of being a mother and living person. It’s been one of the hardest times in my life but I made it through and I grew stronger!
What I did have time for was reflecting on how I spend my time and on what. I noticed that I spent way too much time on things that didn’t benefit me mentally, spiritually or financially. All that had to stop so I did a daily schedule that had the sole purpose of filling my three needs as a human: love, health and wealth.
This is what I did.
  • A health check plan
How is my body & mind feeling? What can I do to help them be better? Am I in need of outside help or can I do this by myself? How is my eating and sleeping schedule, does my body get enough exercise and so on…
  • A daily schedule to monetize my time & productivity
My friend Samira says I like micro-planning, well she’s right. I’ve planned my days to the minute and set alarms on my phone to help me remember certain things I know I’ll forget, such a simple thing as “eat lunch”!
  • A monthly budget and budget goal
Let’s be honest here, if it wasn’t for my friend Anni I’d never do a budget for anything in my life. But lord do I need them! I’ve done a budget for my monthly and annual needs as well as one for my company.
  • A activity calendar
Free time, what’s that?! I might not know so now but ask me again in few months and I’ll tell you all about it as my activity calendar is set to help me actually get out, meet people (friends mostly) and just get a hobby that doesn’t involve my work. Look at that y’all, progress is those who works for it!
With all this done I’m also very humble to the fact that some days I’ll just skip it all and do absolutely nothing at all because that’s the glory of plans, they’re there when you need them but they can also be changed when you don’t. So don’t obsess about missing something in your plan or pushing deadlines forward. The importance is reaching the finish line and doing so in one piece!

    Interesting post! And so true. I am always planning my time, exactly like you, by the minute! And I also have alarms on my phone for remembering tings haha!! 😅😅 Every Sunday I make lists of things I want to do, I have to do and things I can do if there is more time. When will I do what and so on, day by day, time by time. It gives me that structure I really like! 🙂

    Jag tror att det du beskriver är vanligare än vi kan föreställa oss. Scheman är ju alltid bra att utgå ifrån, men det är viktigt att vara okej med att allting inte alltid blir som en har tänkt sig. Sköt om dig
